Thor: Love and Thunder

‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ (2022) follows the return of the God of Thunder for another Marvel Cinematic Universe adventure as it pushes its eponymous hero to confront one of his most personal struggles to date - a lost love.

In the sequel, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) will face Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), a powerful antagonist who has gone dangerously near to slaying Thor in the comics.

The film brings together both MCU veterans and newcomers, with Hemsworth reprising his role as the film's titular character, while Natalie Portman reprises her role as Jane Foster.

Chris Pratt, as well as a number of other ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ cast members, also appear in the film, while Tessa Thompson reprises her role as Valkyrie.

In an unexpected twist, the film will bring back an iconic ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ gag, with Luke Hemsworth, Matt Damon, and Sam Neill reprising their roles as a trio of nameless Asgardian actors. Christian Bale and Russell Crowe also make their MCU debuts in the film.
