The Righteous

Shot fully in an artsy monochromatic style, 'The Righteous' is a spiritual thriller film that revolves around the story of a grieving man called Frederic. Struggling to defend his faith, Frederic and his wife offer a wounded young man to stay in his establishment.

Claims to be lost in the wood, the young man, named Aaron Smith, starts to show peculiar intent and Frederic starts to doubt the stranger's story.

The film features Henry Czerny as the main character Frederic. Czerny is an actor previously known for his roles in 'Clear and Present Danger' (1994) as Robert Ritter, 'Mission: Impossible' (1996) as Kittridge, 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose' (2005) as Dr. Briggs, and 'The Pink Panther' (2006) as Yuri. Meanwhile, Frederic’s wife is played by Winnipeg-born actress Mimi Kuzyk, best known for her roles in 'Hill Street Blues' (1981), 'Blue Murder' (2001), and 'Sex After Kids' (2013).
