The Lost Girls

'The Lost Girls' is another take on the classic tale of 'Peter Pan', based on the book by Laurie Fox. The film gives a portrayal of generational trauma, family dysfunction, and growing up.

The story revolves around Wendy Darling and the four generations within her family, who are trying to cope, after having adventures in Neverland with the boy who never grows up, Peter Pan. This includes her mother, Jane, and her daughter, Berry.

The film is written and directed by Livia De Paolis, who is known for her directorial role in 'Emoticon ;)' (2014). De Paolis also acts in the film, as one of the Wendies, alongside Siobhán Hewlett from 'The Holiday' (2022) TV series, as the original Wendy Darling. Emily Carey from 'Where Is Anne Frank' (2021) stars as teen Wendy, and Amelia Minto from 'Dr Seuss' the Grinch Musical' (2020) TV film, as little Wendy.
