The Chelsea Cowboy

‘The Chelsea Cowboy’ is a biopic about the rise and fall of underworld hardman turned actor John Bindon (Alex Pettyfer), who could not put his criminal background behind despite a successful acting career and passionate romantic liaisons with members of high society, including royalty.

Bindon, who comes from a working-class family, craves the finer things in life due to his cinematic success. He begins dating Lady Victoria Hodge (Poppy Delevigne), an aristocrat, model, and actress who helps him get into the upper society. The glamorous pair suffers a turbulent thirteen-year romance that characterised Bindon's life and serves as the story's backbone.

Trouble starts when Bindon is charged with the murder of London criminal Johnny Darke in 1978. The case tarnishes his image, and his acting career suffers with it.
