‘Spirit Untamed’ is an animated adventure film co-directed by first-time directors Elaine Bogan and Ennio Torresan Jr. The movie is a spin-off to ‘Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron’ and a reboot of the Netflix series, ‘Spirit Riding Free’.

Produced by DreamWorks Animation, ‘Spirit Untamed’ tells the story of a little girl named Lucky Prescott (Isabela Merced). Growing up in a big city, she has to move back with her father (Jake Gyllenhaal) in Miradero, a small frontier town, and finds it hard to adjust.

It all changes when she runs into Spirit, a wild mustang, and becomes friends with two junior horseback riders, Abigail (Mckenna Grace) and Pru (Marsai Martin). One day, an evil horse wrangler tries to capture Spirit and his herd to auction them off. Lucky and her new friends team up to rescue the horses, and she learns an unexpected lesson during the journey.
