‘Fast & Furious’ star Tyrese Gibson stars in another action-packed movie— but this time, it does not involve sports cars and grandiose explosions. Gibson, who also doubles as the movie’s producer, plays former Marine Kyle Snowden in ‘Rogue Hostage’. The movie is directed by ‘The Harrowing’ filmmaker Jon Keeyes and based on a screenplay by Mickey Solis.

The story follows Snowden who has a rocky relationship with his stepfather Congressman Sam Nelson (John Malkovich) following his mother’s death. His military training is put to the test when Snowden, his family, and a group of innocent customers find themselves taken hostage inside a grocery store.

Snowden must devise a way to outwit the captors without endangering other innocent lives. While he plans his next moves against the bad guys, he discovers disturbing details behind the ongoing hostage situation.
