'Brian and Charles' is a heartwarming story about friendship, family, love, and acceptance. The movie revolves around the life of a brilliant man accompanied only by his creation.
Brian is a quirky inventor whose invention mostly ends in failure. He lives alone in Wales in isolation when loneliness started to creep on him. To cure it, he built an AI robot made out of a washing machine in just three days. Charles, he calls it, is a bot with a fixation on cabbages who learns English from a dictionary.
Brian and Charles is an extended version of its 12-minute short created by the trio Jim Archer ('Down from London' (2019) TV Series), David Earl ('The Cockfields' (2021) TV Series), and Chris Hayward ('Trollied' (2011-2016) TV series). Just like its short, Archer will direct the movie, while Earl and Hayward will write it.
