‘Avatar 2’ is the sequel to James Cameron's 2009 science fiction film ‘Avatar’, which wowed the world and broke multiple box office records with its groundbreaking motion-capture animation and digital effects.

In the upcoming sequel, Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Zaldana) have formed a family three years after the events of the first film. However, their peaceful lives are disrupted when an old threat returns to finish what they started. They are forced to leave their home and explore the other moons of Polyphemus.

A new underwater tribe called Metkayina will be introduced in the film. Cliff Curtis will portray Tonowari, the head of the underwater tribe, and Kate Winslet will play Rona, a free diver. The rest of the new cast includes Edie Falco, Jermaine Clement, Michelle Yeoh, Oona Chaplin, and Vin Diesel.

Many actors from the first film will return in ‘Avatar 2’, including Matt Gerald, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Dileep Rao, and Giovanni Ribisi.
