‘65’ tells the story of an astronaut (Adam Driver) who crash-lands on a mysterious planet only to discover he's not alone. Unable to ask for help from Earth, he has to find a way to survive and get back home. However, the planet he is involuntarily visiting is home to creatures that are far from friendly.

The film is written and directed by filmmaking duo Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, who are best known for the highly lauded box office blockbuster ‘A Quiet Place’ (2018), which was based on their original script. The film, which they also executive produced, grossed $340 million worldwide, and Beck and Woods were nominated for Best Original Screenplay at the 2019 Critics' Choice Awards and the Writers Guild of America Awards, as well as Best Film Screenplay at the Saturn Awards.

The duo has also collaborated on a few other horror films, including ‘Haunt’ (2019), a Halloween-themed horror thriller, and ‘Nightlight’ (2015), a found footage supernatural film.
